Dr. Peter Allen was a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle and trained in DNA nanotechnology with the Ellington lab until 2014. He is currently a professor at the University of Idaho. He has published papers in journals such as Analytical Chemistry, Electrophoresis, and Biochimica et Biophysica Acta: Molecular Basis of Disease. His research focuses on the interface of chemistry and biology. He is designing micron-scale particles for sensing biological molecules.
